Description
One day I noticed that a pretty white flower was growing in a pot on my terrace where I had installed several plants. At the end of the season the fruit of the plant, covered with thorns and containing black seeds, reminded me of illustrations of thornapple, a plant associated with witch remedies and known for its toxicity.
I have set aside this dry fruit and its seeds to sow them next spring. The seeds emerged very well and I thus obtained small plants which also looked very much like thornapple: no more hesitation, it was indeed this plant, which can grow in nature and therefore must have ended up in the potting soil that I used. I then sowed these new seeds and their germination was very efficient.
