Description
Borage can grow in pots but its potential can be fully expressed in the garden. This plant can survive mild winters and regrow in spring with a better impetus, reaching an impressive size, adorned with numerous flowers which systematically attract foraging insects. These flowers are also edible, some people find they tastes like an oyster. The leaves, especially young as they are more tender, can be prepared and eaten like spinach.
Borage reproduces easily from its seeds and reseeds itself with a lot of ease. It can therefore be invasive from one year to the next, but its edibility makes it possible to resolve any uncontrolled expansion without wasting.
